ABOUT OUR FARM

Whitetail Deer Farm

Welcome to our family-run deer farm! What started with just three bred does in March of 2021 has blossomed into a thriving community of around 30 deer and 11 antelope. We take pride in nurturing our animals and fostering a connection with nature. Join us on our journey as we continue to grow and share our passion for these beautiful creatures!

FARM VISITS/TOURS

Canceled for the season

We will be closed for farm tours this year.

M
y mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about three years ago, and she has been living with me full-time for over a year now. This season of life is asking for more of my time, strength, and heart as I care for her, our family, and the farm.

After much prayer and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause tours for this season and focus where I’m needed most.

I trust that God’s timing is always right, even when it’s hard, and I’m leaning on Him through it all.

Thank you so much for your understanding, love, and support. We truly appreciate your prayers 💜

WHAT TO WEAR

While we love seeing your personal style, the deer don't always see it the same way. In general, please wear clothes that are not large/baggy (anything that might flutter in the wind), closed-toe shoes (for safety), and if you want to wear a hat, please keep it relatively small (like a baseball cap).

SCENTS

The deer are very sensitive to smells and have been known to refuse to come up to people that smell strongly (regardless of how lovely the smell is). If you wear perfume, cologne, essential oils, or any other strong-smelling scents, please consider using them in moderation or not at all.

WHEN TO COME

If you're interested in coming out, please use the booking calendar at the bottom of the page to find the best time for you.
If you want to see fawns, they are born in June and July. We usually have some that are bottle fed so you may even have an opportunity to participate if you time it right. They begin to lose their spots in September.
If you're interested in seeing big antlers, August is the best time. In September/October, we generally remove their antlers (for the safety of us and the deer).

COST

For small groups/ families (less than 10 people) we don't charge! We will accept a donation if you feel so inclined but nothing is compulsory or expected. If you have a large group (large families, field trips, co-ops etc) please reach out to us on pricing. Large groups usually mean we have to bring in help, split up groups etc.

We are out with our deer every day and sharing them with others is just as much of a joy for us as it is for you.

WHAT TO BRING

Your phones and cameras! You dont want to miss the opportunity to capture a special moment that you can take home with you and share it with others.
During the rainy season, it is generally advised to have some sort of water/mud shoes to change into. You may not need them, but it does get wet and muddy in the pens sometimes and we don't want you to ruin your favorite pair of shoes. Oh, and the rainy season is all year long.
